The G/T models will feature Mopar's cold-end and cold-air intake systems, as well as robust 5.7-liter V-8 engines. These models will also be accompanied by Mopar's Performance Pages app. This app gives users the ability to see how their vehicle performs, with information on g-force, engine performance, 0-60 times, and much more. G/T vehicles will also feature unique interiors, with bucket seats up front featuring attractive stitching and a special logo. Mopar all-weather floor mats help create a distinct appearance while also protecting the floor from the elements.
The BackCountry models of the Ram 1500 will be designed with off-roading in mind. With front skid plates, electronic locking rear differential, off-road shock absorbers, all-terrain tires, and hill-descent control, the BackCountry editions of the Ram 1500 can handle a variety of challenging trails and off-road destinations.

The 2022 Ram 1500 base trim will come standard with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine capable of generating 305 horsepower and 269 pound-feet of torque. It will also come standard with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive.
